I attempted to make cupcakes again (hey, that reminds me I forgot to post a pic of the silly princess ones). You can kinda see a glimpse of the tea cup cupcakes in this pic. The girls & Braly enjoyed them.Gabby got a Hannah Montana shirt & head bands, a fairy felt doll making kit, a penguin iflops (its a stuffed penguin that has a hook up inside of it for a MP3 player & has speakers on hits head so she can listen to it for bed & not have the wires from headphones for mommy to be worried about her getting tangled in).
Then on Gabby's 'real' birthday, I took her to Iron Mtn for a scrapbooking/card making day & she had lots of fun. Auntie Nat worked with her on some stamping & cards & then gave her a no sew fleece throw for her to use when she goes camping with Auntie Nat & Uncle Todd.
We had to celebrate her 'real' birthday with a cake so we got a small one that we could finish off in one sitting. And she got an ipod shuffle for her iflops penguin. She's pretty happy about that.
What a wonderfully girly birthday party!!! You did such a wonderful job and it looks like Gabby just loved it!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love those princess cupcakes :) Better than anything I've ever done or even attempted :)
I was starting to get worried about you...haven't seen you around in awhile.

I thought it was a cute them & yes quite girly. We bought Braly a batman mug from the thrift store when we were getting all the girly stuff & we made him a green bag instead of the pinkish one. He enjoyed the party & harrasing the girls a little. He's such a boy!
ReplyDeleteWe had family here on & off for a week & a half so I didn't get to get on the computer much. I've got lots more pics to share though & its kinda nice that I can do it here for free instead on picture trail, even though I enjoyed the slideshows there. I guess I should put together a slideshow here. Maybe this weekend I'll try one.
